From a seed idea to a production blockchain travel platform
Avisa Innovation had seed funding and a bold vision for a blockchain travel booking platform, but no roadmap to build it. We took Ryoko from concept to a live, production-scale product, end to end.

The challenge
Avisa Innovation came to us with three things: conviction, a seed round, and a bold idea, a blockchain-based travel booking platform. What they did not have was a way to build it.
No architecture, no technical roadmap, and no clarity on how a crypto-native product could feel trustworthy enough for people to book real travel through it. The risk was real: spend the seed round on the wrong build and have nothing production-ready to show for it.
Our approach
We started before a single line of code. In working sessions we pressure-tested the idea, defined what Ryoko actually needed to be, and chose a stack that could carry crypto-native payments without scaring off mainstream travellers.
We mapped the architecture and drew a clear line between what belongs on-chain and what does not, Solana for settlement and PostgreSQL for everything else, and designed a wallet-based sign-in with Privy that feels as simple as logging in with an email.
What we built
We built Ryoko end to end.
- A responsive Next.js front end with shimmer and skeleton loading states, so the app feels instant even while data resolves.
- A Fastify / Express service layer on DigitalOcean, behind Cloudflare for caching, TLS, and DDoS protection.
- Solana-based settlement with stablecoin-friendly payments, and Privy for frictionless wallet onboarding.
- A UX grounded in behavioural psychology, every flow from search to checkout designed to reduce friction and build trust.
Bookings, a marketplace, merchandise, and content all shipped as one coherent product.

The results
Ryoko went live and stayed live, 99.99% uptime from launch. In its first month it acquired 60+ users, on a front end fast and responsive enough that the blockchain rails stay invisible to the traveller.
Avisa turned a seed-stage idea into a real, in-market product in 15 weeks, with an architecture built to scale as they grow.
