From an idea to a full real estate platform, web to mobile

Housdy came to us with an idea and nothing built: a smarter way to buy a home. Instead of endless filtering, it would match families to properties on real compatibility, location, budget, schools, commute, and how well a home fits the whole family.

That is a hard product to engineer. It needs location-aware scoring, a multi-sided marketplace for buyers, tenants, and builders, payments, and the reliability of a real platform, all with no technical team in place.

We took ownership of the entire build, from architecture to app store. We designed a geo-aware matching engine on PostGIS that scores homes against 50+ parameters per family, and a multi-tenant backend with proper isolation (Postgres row-level security) so the platform could scale into white-label partners.

We planned for every surface a real estate business needs: a public web app, an internal admin portal, and native mobile apps for buyers and for partners, all sharing one backend and one source of truth.

We built Housdy end to end, four applications on a shared backend:

• Web app (Next.js 15, React 19), the family-fit matching experience with maps, geo-scored search, and a fast, polished UX.
• Admin portal, a standalone Next.js app for operations and moderation, running on a read replica.
• Buyer and partner mobile apps (React Native / Expo), shipped to the Play Store via EAS.
• A Fastify + Prisma backend on PostgreSQL + PostGIS for geography-aware scoring, with multi-tenant row-level security and Redis caching.

Plus every production concern a real business needs: Razorpay and Google Play billing, Cloudflare for TLS, CDN, and white-label tenant domains, pluggable AI (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) for report narratives, WhatsApp and push notifications, GST invoicing, and full observability with Sentry and PostHog, all deployed through GitHub Actions with zero-downtime releases.

Housdy went from an idea to a live product in 5 months: a complete real estate platform on the web and the Play Store, with two native mobile apps, an admin portal, and a matching engine scoring homes across 50+ parameters.

What began as a concept is now a real, production-grade business, engineered for multi-tenant, white-label growth.
